i would not worry about it i picked up a 4ft male from a friend 3 weeks ago who rescued it from a guy who never took care of it, the snake had not eaten for 8 months but just last week with proper heat and water he shead then ate and seems healthy as ever so keep up on the snake with proper temps and try to feed every week good luck danny
