Fading as she Grows?

I bought this little normal female ball python almost a year ago now. Her sides seem to be loosing yellow. The pictures don't really show it much but it is more noticeable in person. She may just be lightening up as she grows and sheds, but my other female tended to get more yellow till she reached about three years of age and went dark on me (all the melamine kicked in and blurred her nice yellow, oh well).

Below is a picture I took about 4 months ago.





Here is a picture I took about 30 minutes ago.



This is another recent picture, not as close up though. The fading seems to be more on the sides than around the head though. But the picture below wasn't in as good light.
