I've got a pair. I've had them for about 2 years. They are both
sweet little pussy cats.

I think one of them hissed when I took him out the box when he first arrived, not a peep since then.

I handle them in shed all of the time, they are really my
favorite boas now. I'd read that they can be ornery. I handle
then a lot though.
