Posted by: jonthefb at Wed Mar 21 17:24:12 2007 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by jonthefb ] I am using the ESU Reptile Mini Aqualight with 2 9 watt 7% UVB power compacts on a 5.5 gallon tank for my baby panther chameleon and it works great, but as kinyonga said you must remove the plastic bulb guard or else the plastic will filter out the UVB. It is my understanding that the only reason they included the plastic bulb guards was to ensure that the fixtures received a UL approval. [ Hide Replies ]
