Agreed, but there is a pretty big difference between captivity and the wild. Snakes get no say in anything in captivity.

And chances are, the people video taping that and putting it on the web aren't even thinking of the potential repercussions. "Look at this big mean snake eating the screaming little bunny/chick!" It just feeds the fear of snakes.
There's nothing wrong with live prey, but why on earth would you want to video tape an animal screaming as it dies? If I had anything big enough to eat rabbits I'd sure as hell try to convert to F/T just to avoid having to hear the screams.
