PURE LAZYNESS!!!! =) J/K, dont kill me. Alot a people use it for sanitary reasons, if it gets soiled, just remove and replace. Alot easier especially if you have quite a few boas. I use cypress myself as well and it can be a pain to keep up with when you have numerous boas, always having to spot clean and replace.... Jon
