What is so important about snakes or exotic pets in general that law makers waste hours trying to ban them? I understand the need to keep people from owning an elephant. Big cats should be regulated to the extent that they should be licensed and monitored like dogs and small cats, just for the safety of the animals. But, a ball python?
If teens repeatedly baseball bat, my mailbox. I fill the post with cement. A teen breaks his wrist by hitting the cncrete post with a bat. I can be sued for criminal intent. I enteded to hurt someone. If a person breaks into my house and trips on the front porch on the way out and breaks his leg, I am liable because there is no warning sign. Loop Holes in the laws. But law makers spend hours and days worrying about what pet I have.
Why do we punish the lawful and reward the criminals? ----- Lead us not into temptation. We can find it on our own.
