ALso in California the counter part to this Coachwhip is the red racer which does look very similar but they have in incredibly indecent attitude and there is no way you could hold one of those with out being bitten repeditly. Was this animal somewhat dormant or out and about when you captured it, like the other poster I am suprised. ALso I like the rocky terrian there - just curious as to where your at? My asking is with respect to lizards my favorite faire.....Cheers!!! I have yet to see a copperhead. The color under the leaves is so orange in the picture that I would have guessed some other specie--but then I have never scene one up close. [ Hide Replies ]
