new snake

I have been in herps for 8 years now, and I got my first Burmese on monday. i got it home and tried to feed it b/c it was really hungry. It constricted but didn't eat. i fed it again and the same thing. i fed it yeserday and it finally ate two rats. then i took a closer look at the snake and found out that it had snake mites. i have been treating those. the snake is still kind of aggressive. it was tame the many times i had seen it in the shop before. Do you think that it is just in pain or is it still hungry? Would it still bve aggressive after a week of getting used to its new home? what?
