burmese soaking?

Hello guys, My 5 month old burmese has been soaking in his water quite a bit. this is my first burm, and am not sure if this is a commen thing for them. he had mites, but they have been gone for about 2 weeks, and havnt spotted any others around since then. hes healthy, eating anything i give him everyweek. any ideas would be good. im getting a little nervous!
