If you want to get rid of mites, either use Provent-A-Mite, commonly called PAM or go to wal-mart and get the generic form. It is called Equate bedding spray. It can be found in the lice control section of the store. We compared the active ingredients, they are identical. It runs around 4 bucks a can. If it can be done, REMOVE all animals in the room, spray down the enclosures and the perimeter of the room. Let dry for 30 minutes, it will be white when sprayed and turns clear when dry. Remove water for 24 hours. If you house lizards at all, do not put them back into the room until a week later. We had great sucess using this product and have been completely mite free since. If you notice any other mites, this process can be repeated in a month. Ours were gone first try.
