I had a litter today with fairly bad results, and yet I am grateful for what I have. I got 12 slugs, 1 still born, 1 baby I had to cull imediately (its brain formed outside of its skull, and its back bone was outside of the skin on its neck), one that may be culled soon(it has a hare lip thing going on. Its nostrils go all the way to its mouth) and 7 slightly premie, but thriving young healthy kids.
So...Denny, your DP has landed, and although the pickins are slim, there are some shining stars in the group of 7.
And Alex...Thanks for the cream pastel I bought last April. It took her MONTHS to ovulate, but when she did the outcome was good. I think the slugs could have been avoided if I hadn't moved just prior to ovulation, and lack of interest in the male after the move for some time. ----- Davey Giltner
