How do I clean a Wooden tank out?

I just bought a 4x2x2 wooden cage for my Guyana Redtail. I cleaned it out with hot water and a little bit of bleach. My problem is it still smells like bleach bad and I don't know if I should put my snake back in the tank. It's been outside for a whole day.

If anyone could give me some advice.

Also does anybody know what happend to Alex Smith????
