Hey everyone. I've been reading this forum for years and I need some help from the experts. I just moved my 01 6' male Argentine to a new cage (Animal plastic cage with sliding glass front; 4 X 2 ft) and he has been rubbing his nose on the glass, to the point where it's a little raw (no blood though). He developed a little bit of wheezing a couple of months back due to a drop in local temps, so I've been increasing the hotspot slightly (90 F) and increasing humidity slightly. His wheezing has started to subside.

Do you think he's rubbing his nose because it's irritated (rubbing is giving him relief)? He's been so restless, not coiling up much, that it worries me. He does this almost all day and all night. The only time he rests is when I feed him a big meal and he's digesting. So what should I do? Move him to a different cage or block out the glass with dark paper?

Any advice welcome and thanks in advance,
Dimitri
