method is definately NOT for the squeamish.



Actually, truth be told, I really have trouble doing it myself.



However,it is probably the least painful way to check out for the rat.



The tail whip/neck snap method works well also, but is not great for the rat if you partially miss...yicks.



The CO2 method where their little lungs collapse and they suffocate on their own mucus insnt great either.



Thats why I do it like nature intended...snake kills rat & rat has fair chance to chew snakes eyes out.
