Columbian Boa 90% time in the water

Hes about 3ft and 90% of his time I see him in the water... he even sleeps in it... I keep the water and that side of the tank at 31C (88 F). Is this normal or should I be worried? I just got him 2 months ago and he just started doing this 2 weeks ago.
