Burns

My 4 month old Chameleon recently developed a burn on his side, Im not sure if it was from him sunbathing in the florida sun or being in his cage and being burned by his heat source. Was wondering how it can be treated, and what do I do about him sunning himself I dont want it to get worst and he seems to just keep sunning the burnt side. I plan on going to vet but its sunday and nothing is open. He is eatting and drinking just needed some advice.
