When that happens they cannot move their legs and it is generally terminal. Impaction is usually caused by eating the wrong or too big a prey item. Just feed them crickets that have bodies no longer than the distance between their eyes and no mealworms and you'll be fine. Beardies lay around and sleep in all sorts of odd positions so I wouldn't be worried. [ Hide Replies ]
