it's not impossible, but I highly doubt it, snake mites feed upon snakes, not rodents. Since you got a snake from someone who said it had a mite problem and didn't quarantine, you most likely brought mites into your collection thru this or some other snake you didn't quarantine, it happens, now you need to treat all your snakes and the environment for mites. Get rid of those pesky little vectors.
