Because of the way the RR works by eating away at the exoskeleton it will give the snake some immediate comfort by killing the mites on the snake (PAM does not do this you have to wait until the mites drop off the animal for them to die). The draw back is that you do have to literally soak the snake in the RR - leave it for a few minutes and then go back and rinse it off (I usually do this process a couple of times) - once the stuff drys it's no longer effective. You can use the RR to do an initial cage cleaning - again you need to soak down the cage with the stuff and then rinse it out and again once it's dry it's not affective - this is where the PAM comes in handy - anything that escaped the RR should get killed over the next few days with the PAM. | ||
