Thats what I figured, but wanted to check my terminology as well. I think which term to use also has alot to do with where you are in the process. If a snake has recently ovualted, then I'm looking for her "post ovulation shed". Once that happens, and about the time I'm expecting her to lay, I think back to that shed and call it the "pre-lay shed". Still, like I said before I think those terms are interchangeable.
