Sonora boa (with a surprise)...

Ok.. nice Sonora boa wiith good color and loads of specs!

.. the surprise is underneath..

.



.

... the ventrals are flaming coral-orange-red! It's not that uncommon in Mexico boa populations. What many may not have witnessed is this; when you grab one of these in the wild they may display the underside of the belly and tail in a warning or whatever (like a ringneck-snake).. it grabs your attention.
