here how i get my hatchlings started on mealies. pinch or cut a end off the mealie then touch the Leos lips with that end, this should cause it to lick its lips. you prob see it get that excited look and then snatch it. then drop a another infront of it and see if it will get it. sometimes i have to this a couple times before they start getting them on their own. its worked everytime so far for me. they all now will get them out of a dish but they still love their crickets.
