heat element in incubators what u prefer

oh as far as the whole fan thing goes i say yes to fan as long as it isnt a tiny incubator it isnt a large fan and the tubs are nice and snug. Now to my question what do you prefer to heat your incubtators? personly i like flex watt 3"X? ran up each side.
