I recently adopted a snake this weekend that has unusually scarring well I’ve never seen a snake scar so I think it might look unusual. The previous owners said they weren’t sure what it was from. They said the snake had mites that they had treated. What does really really bad mite damage look like? I think this damage was recent within the last 5 months or so they only had it for about a year. A tiny bit of it is still pinkish .1% (less than 1 %) of the total scar tissue is pink. The scarring is on the side and back of the snake. Its last shed was also a dry shed I have to soak it tonight to remove a dry cap from it’s eye. Where can I find pics of mite damage/ scarring?
