You should not have to treat CH babies. Just get them early in the season(before their first shed is best). I usually just soak them as soon as they arrive to rehydrate them. I think where CH babies get a bad rap is when people buy the old ragged out ones late in the season that have not been cared for properly for too long. IMO CH are just as good as CB if bought proir to their 1st shed.
