Hello all. Don't post here much, but have kept panther and veiled chameleons for years in the past, as well as many other reptiles. For a long time I've been interested in acquiring some Mt. Meru Jacksons chameleons, and see them available every so often in the classifieds. I'm just curious as to whether or not people are successfully breeding them. It is definitely the next species I would like to work with, and I'd obviously would like to start with captive animals if at all possible. Though it most likely won't be for awhile (maybe even a few years) before I would be able to actually make the purchase, I'm just curious as to what their US captive situation is like as of now, and starting plans on housing and such. If the absolute only option would be wild caught, then I'll consider it, which leaves me with my last question...I know these animals are much more fragile than the more common Jacksons, but how do they fare in adjusting to captivity? My plans would be to house them individually, with very large enclosures/all necessities. Thanks very much for any input
