In times past Ive done and experienced the same thing. Now I feed males and females tiny little meals to make sure it stays down. As females become gravid I'll feed an adult female a weaned size rat. Its only a mouth full but they always keep it down. I'm glad she didnt die on you.... I lost a lovely female albino like this. Good for you for pulling her! Dan
