I agree with BDlvr. Empty space is not a bad thing, they love to run around and hunt for crickets. For the simplest of tanks... All you need is a basking spot of around 105-115, food and water dish, UVB lighting and whatever driftwood or rocks for decor. 20" long is not the best option for a full grown beardie though... I would suggest a 4 footer in length if thats possible.
