RE: rat traps for pre-killing??

This is a discussion that we had a few day ago on anothr thread that was posted. Why do experienced ball keepers in this forum continue to want to use inhumane means of killing their live rodent prey to feed to their balls? If you are going to purchase live rodents and inhumanly kill them by using a rat traps or mice traps why go trough all the trouble either purchase fronzen/unthawed or let the balls do what is natural.
