I was not doing it for extra money for school but to help fun research. I also did not start with BP but I had several pet Corn Snakes of diferent morphs. One day I just put snake A in with snake B and out came 17 eggs about a month later. One thing to consider and this is the only reason I would not recomend it is this kind of thing takes a lot of time, Remember I did this to help fund research but I find now it cuts into my research time and I am able to do less of it therefor dont need the extra funding now. Just think of it this way. My first tiem I had 17 eggs, All of the hatched. I already had manny of the sold before they hatched but not all of them. this was a coupld of years ago. I still have 2 snakes from that clutch witch I have to take care of. Feed, clean, water. It all takes time and would not be good if it takes time away from your school or any important field work you are doing at any given time. On top of that I have not made much from breeding anyway. When you subtract income from expence I have made enough to buy a few dinners and thats about it. Maybe if you are not into stocking shelves at Walmart "I dont blame you" you can contact your local Zoo or Preserve and see if they need any extra help part tiem a coupel of days a week. I dont know how it works but posably extra creadit even for school? If nothing ells you will be paid and also get important field experience for the future witch will pad any resume. Good luck with what ever you decide to do and I hope I helped a little | ||
