I wouldnt have left the maggots in there either, but its interesting to note that maggots are an effective way to clean open wounds.



People have used this method for centuries, long before they even knew about germs, they found that maggots in a wound would heal it up with no infections?



Its still used even to this day. Id imagine in a real sterile setup though - interesting.
