I also have seen programs about the maggots being used for that. They also said that they only eat the "dead flesh" and won't actually do any damage to the living flesh.



Thanks for the replies. I will try the ointment and see how it goes. He? or she? is already on a slightly damp paper towel. I have not checked for the sex due to the circumstances and not wanting to cause any further stress.
