Question from a newbie...

I've read this forum many times doing "research", and I have seen this question bring about heated debates. But I was wondering. I had a bp years several years ago but for reasons beyond my control I had to sell her. I'm looking to get something beyond the "normal" phase. How would you all rate them price wise. Normals being the cheapest. What morph would be the next step up. I would LOOOOOOOVE to have a pied ball, but they are way to much for my price range. .. most i've seen being priced in the $3000 range. What would you all suggest for say somewhere under $200 (shipping inc.) Thanks. PS: I'm not looking to ever breed.. just a pet.
