It depends on what you are going to treat the snake mites with. With Reptile Relief, Provent a Mite and Nix...remove the water bowl and snake throw out old bedding and wooden fixtures (or soak them in bleach for 20 minutes to kill everything, rinse really well, then rinse 3 more times in clean water, air dry in ventilated area), add new bedding (I suggest just paper towel), spray entire cage with Provent a Mite or Reptile Relief (and the Nix solution..I don't know the way to prepare Nix, but a search online should bring it up).

Reptile Relief I believe, says on the bottom it is safe to spray directly on your snake. Personally, I don't think its a good ideal too much a chance the stuff will get in their eyes, nose or mouth...and I am sure they don't like it.

Let the cage dry, then you can put the snake back into the cage and water. Repeat in 2-4 weeks time. In bad infestations, you may have to do it a third time in another 2-4 weeks.
