Sani Chips mold pretty easy, but I just checked the temps and there staying at a good 89-90 top/bottom of the eggs. I only have larges pieces of heat tape, I don't think I have ever bought the 3" or 4" width. The mother seems to be doing a pretty good job. I am buying an upright freezer off of craigslist today and I will pick up a computer fan from radio shack tomorrow. I should have the incubator built by tomorrow at the latest.
