If the female can still smell the eggs even after removed they may continue to maternally incubate even with no eggs present, I recommend you remove the females and give the enclosure a real good cleaning to remove the possible residual smell of the removed eggs, If they have resumed feeding I wouldnt be too concerned, but it is a waste of the mothers bioloical resources to brood eggs that are not there. ----- Thanks,
