I like using Cypress mulch. I get it untreated from a local Agway for about $4.00 for a 40lb bag. The lady who works at the Agway told me a local zoo also uses this for their setups. I like this because its very natural looking and (I think) the snake would like it better than the newspaper that alot of people use. It also helps keep the humidity better.



Keep the temps at around 85 days 80 nights in the hot spot. Some people run the hot spot at around 90-95, but I find that my snakes will immediately crawl to the cooler end when the temps are this high.
