I have never had shed problems with my balls which are in a vision rack , what I do is monitor all of my balls when I notice when they are going into shed (when they are in the blue)I mist their tubs until the substrate is nice and damp not wet , and I also mist the snakes they seem to enjoy this, I do this periodically throught their shed cycle which last a few days until they shed , this keeps the humidity up and they have a complete whole shed that comes off in one piece , it works very well for my snakes and I have never had a shed problem.
