Double check your hunidity levels. If you keep them between 60 and 65% and keep temps in the right range while he is in the shed processe you should not have any problems.



Try soaking him for 30 minutes to an hour in room temprature water. Make sure the water is not to deep. You dont want him to drown. I usually put a rock or something in there for mine to rest on if he gets tired and I NEVER leave them unattended. After that the piece should fall off on its own and you will have a well hydrated snake! I usually soak mine once a month.



Check out proexotics.com or do a search on retained eyecaps and you will find plenty of good ideas. Choose what your comfortable with doing.
