1 unverifiable but doubly confirmed western ribbon snake

Nice pics and report, but there is no way you found a Western Ribbonsnake (Thamnophis proximus) in Oregon.
Western Ribbons only make it as far west as the eastern edge of New Mexico. They aren't found within 1500 miles or Oregon.
Could it have been a Northwestern Gartersnake (T. ordinoides)?
