RE: Egg bound?

The problem I had with my dumeril was that I had a raised basking spot and she had a lot of trouble climbing up there. I probably let the humidity get too low also. I am sure that these were only some of the issues that caused my female to die. I have learned a lesson, but I doubt those were the only reasons.
In the last couple of days I could tell that she even had problems getting into the water. She would try to climb the edge of the water dish only to fall onto her side or back. By the time I made the enclosure better for her it was to late. This was to be her second clutch in 4 months. Maybe she had not fully recovered from laying earlier.

The saddest part is that I watched her try to push the eggs out, but none would. It has to be a miserable way to die.

RIP little girl. I miss you.
