How do you do the CO2 method?

I raise my own rats and feed off like 50 a week to my snakes. Once they get past sm/med size they are too big for my snakes. I still have too many and end up bringing them to the local pet shops to sell pretty cheap. I would prefer looking into freezing them. I don't know how to kill them because my snakes currently eat live. Aside from wacking them, I am loking for a way to kill them so I can freeze them. Can anyone give me details on the CO2 method?

Any help is appreciated.
