I've got to tell you, I think its going to be tough. I've never been able to get hatchlings to take PK or FT for a first meal. Live hopper mice for the confident and agressive babies, and live "crawler" mice for the more skittish. "Crawlers" are what I call the stage between Fuzzies and hoppers, where the babies have their eyes open and are able to crawl around, but not jump. Some babies are intimidated by the wild movements of a hopper and will not take them at first. Also, dark colored mice are far better than white. I've had many over the years that would not take white (I also keep my babies on white paper towels...maybe that was part of the problem), but pound other colors. After 3 or 4 meals they can take adult mice, and start the transistion to FT. At this stage I've found them to be very easy to transition...
