looking for tips, bryce/vegas/g. canyon!

hey guys, i'm going on vacation in bryce canyon, zion nat'l park, and the north rim of the grand canyon in the beginning of july.

any southwest herpers have any good tips about places to check out, best spots to do some field herping, etc?

i'm really excited, being from chicago i don't really ever get to see herps in the wild.
