Drenching the pot would keep the problem of of the lizard drinking any solution to a minimum. You might see if you can find Dyna grow fertilizer since this brand contains calcium. Most fertilizer doesn't contain calcium since it is incompatible with some fertilzer elements. A general purpose one should be fine you really shouldn't need a high phosphourus one.
