Well, tonight, she passed another bowel movement and, not only did it seem sort of painful for her (she spread her back legs and even arched her back a bit), it was made up of nearly ENTIRELY of these little wood-like shavings that were used as substrate in her deli cup at the Expo held together with what looks a bit like mucus.

I have never used a loose substrate, so I have NEVER seen anything like this happen. Clearly, her actually having passed some of this stuff indicates that she is passing it. Should I be concerned? I would give her a warm water bath, but I have only had her for 4 days and I am really afraid of further stressing her.

Have any of you had geckos to pass any substrate that they ingested?

Any advice is appreciated? Thanks! Pics below:
