I for one don't want to stop. Have big plans for my collection and pretty much ready to stop acquisitions (except for "new" projects and grow from holdbacks only....no quarantine required!!
Yeah, after I wrote it I thought the same thing. Not Cutting edge but WOW will be SOOOOOOO cool no matter what I get. So far I've been breeding BRB's for years and still excited with each and every litter. Due dates are unpredictable (at least with the knowledge we have now) nothing known like so many days after POS.
This last fall my few pairings were the start of the blossoming of my collection. This next fall will be somewhere around 10 possible females and the following year, all 18 females could be ready to go. At that time I'll probably start rotating them in and out of breeding to give them a rest.
Yeah, one of the things I'm working towards is sunglows from my coral females and eventually (2 gen project) with my summit salmon.
I know what you mean, it's very important to me to keep grounded. Not to get so big it's just a business, but still and I mean always, FUN!!
BRB's:
I have several sets of hypo BRB's, a pair of hypos from Mike Lockwood, the originator of the EBV line. They should be ready to go this fall. Fortunately Mike and I live about a half hour apart so we get to visit and talk shop from time to time. We have a breeding loan going on this year to produce hets from his male and one of my totally unrelated females. That's one place whjere I have a huge advantage. I have many unrelated bloodlines for outcrossing.
I also have a pair hypo.het hypo from EBN. Also from the EBV line but a bit more outcrossed than Mikes. Also should be ready this fall. I plan on swapping the males between the two.
Lastly I have my own line....YES, my own line, how cool is that? Recently an importer advertised a striped hypo baby born from a WC gravid female. I looked into it and bought not only the hypo baby but the mom and the rest of the litter as well. Bpottom line is I own them all so to my knowledge, this is the only fresh from the wild known line of hypos. Mikes line cropped up from breeding siblings with no known history. Add to that the extreme striping the likes of which I've never seen before and WOW this is an exciting project!!
Genevieve:

No Albino's (yet) none are being sold. I'll definately have some eventually, but will probably have to wait until the prices are somewhat reasonable. I can't imagine where they will start once available.
I do have Anery's. One 2006 pair (het.anery) from Brian Sharp and another anery male on order from his 2007 offspring. Should be cool to start working the lines (hypo, anery, stripe and eventually albino) together into all the associated designer morphs.
Tawney:

There are also some pattern "morphs" more of a line bred or polygenic morph.
Bullseye, where the crescents from more complete circles:

Blush, where the crescents become speckled through the side patterns. Just popped out of last years production in some otherwise normal liiging babies. I don't know if I can re-create or get it to occur in higher colored animals....another project in the works.

And Eclipse where the crescent is non existant

Wow, this reply got long Can ya tell I love talking herps? ----- Thanks,
