I second that, whenever I put a male and female together for breeding, the male rattles his tail. If he gets a nonaggressive response from the female, mating normally takes place, or he is at least excepted into her cage. It's similar to us shaking hands, but includes a bit of rattling noise. I've also noticed females acting this way towards each other, but it is less deliberate, the tail shaking not as hard, more of a wiggling motion. ----- 1.0 Hypo Tang Leopard Gecko
