I also think there are seasonal factors involved.
For instance, a snake born early in the year may begin fasting at some point the following winter. However, a snake born in teh alst quarter of the year or so tends to make it into next breeding season without any feeding problems.
So yes, I'd agree that your size estimation is about right, but there also appears to be a size/maturity combination.
Just what I've noticed. Opinions welcome.
